I love giving all my treatments, but there is a particularly special bond developed through the course of Fertility Massage Therapy. Fertility and gynaecology are close to my heart, because of my own experience with conceiving.
Between the ages of 22 and 35 I had numerous miscarriages and fertility issues, including an ectopic pregnancy, which lead to one of my fallopian tubes from being removed, cervical cancer, natural conceptions as well as IVF treatments.
My youngest is now 15, so all of this was some years ago. But it never feels like that when I speak to the couples joining me for Fertility Massage Therapy; it feels like yesterday. I know how powerful the desire for a child can be, and how important it is to so many. I remember the trials and tribulations, and I am keen to hear each woman’s individual story and support her towards her goal.
An emotional connection is crucial as part of Fertility Massage Therapy, as well as the passing of energy between client and therapist. It is a special, unique moment and an absolute privilege to support you, whether you are conceiving naturally or alongside an IVF programme.
It brings me such joy to hear when my clients have successfully conceived, and means so much to me to have helped in some small way towards creating someone’s new family. Not many people get a job where they can share in that moment, but I am lucky enough to get to hold my clients' hands and join them on their journey to motherhood.
You can find out more about Fertility Massage here and read about previous clients' experiences here. If you are considering IVF treatment then I would recommend The Agora Clinic in Hove, where many of my clients have had a really positive experience.
