Indian Adventures

In 2014 my family and I spent an unforgettable fortnight journeying across northern India. I have always found travelling very inspiring, and India is a place that will be with me forever. I’m still continually drawn to its colours, textures, sights, smells and sounds.

I was already a qualified therapist and masseuse before visiting this beautiful country, but the experience of India ignited something inside of me. After our trip, I went on to discover Ayurveda - the historical Indian system of medicine and healing - and I trained as an Ayurvedic Massage Therapist.

This is what led me to develop Alex Olds Holistic Therapies: a sanctuary with Indian aesthetics and visuals in décor and design, where Ayurvedic practices form the basis of my approach to therapies addressing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of each person.

The holiday in 2014 was only the start of my Indian adventure, as I continue on my holistic and Ayurvedic journey in Lindfield and Haywards Heath! Until I can return to India, these photos remind me of the splendour and richness of its culture, people and scenery.
